Aluminium docks for marinas | Structurmarine | FRANÇAIS |

AESTHETICS OF THE DECK. Aluminium structure systems allow multiple choices of deck materials: wood, composite wood, interlocking pavement blocks, square-cut stone, pebble aggregate and custom design solutions.

DESIGN FLEXIBILITY. Aluminium structure systems are easily reconfigurable – Structurmarine’s Altrack hardware allows the relocation of cleats and entire finger docks. Individual floats permit varying freeboard and buoyancy according to boat size and use. Tapered finger docks – which are easier for boaters to maneuver around – are easily constructed in aluminium. Thanks to rubber flexjoints, connections are noise-free. And of course maintenance for aluminium structure systems is minimal when they’re well engineered.

EASE OF REPAIR. If a section of dock becomes damaged, that section alone can be repaired – there’s no need to replace the entire unit. Major components can be repaired or replaced individually.

ENVIRONMENTAL ADVANTAGES. Aluminium marina systems are built of non-corrosive materials – marine-grade aluminium alloy frame, composite wood decking, plastic floats and stainless steel hardware. They have less impact on fish and flora habitats, too, for three reasons: space between the deck planks allows the sun through; there’s less surface in the water; and the drafts are more shallow than for heavier structures. The spaces between floats allow water and debris to flow freely. And marine growth is lesser on plastic floats than on concrete.
