BEST WESTERN WATERFRONT MARINA
FORT MYERS, FLORIDA
The Best Western Fort Myers Waterfront is a marina located on the banks of the Okeechobee Intracoastal waterway, the Caloosahatchee River. The hotel itself offers large private balconies, most with great views of the river and the downtown Fort Myers skyline. Built in 2016, the marina is offering a dozen slips to accommodate boats up to 50’ and provide fishing facilities.
The F-shaped waterfront facility measures 534 linear feet in a 12-foot-wide floating dock system. Made of our Structure 80 grade aluminum product with composite wood for decking and polyethylene fenders. Both dock and pile anchoring systems were designed to provide the guests with a safe stay at the hotel.
In 2022, the marina was challenged with Category 5 Hurricane Ian which affected much of Florida and suffered only minor damage after facing winds, waves, and total submersion in the water for several hours.
