JACQUES-CARTIER NAUTICAL CLUB IN GASPÉ
GASPESIE, QUEBEC, CANADA

The Club Nautique Jacques-Cartier is in the Bay of Gaspé at the eastern end of the Gaspé Peninsula and is the starting point for the most beautiful maritime routes in Quebec. With 90 berths, the marina offers its boaters a protected destination with full services in the Gulf of St Lawrence River. The dock system triangular catways facilitates mooring operations and the flexible anchoring system makes it possible to cope with the 1.5 m (5 ft) tidal variations with ease. In addition, as part of the network of ports of call for international cruises on the St. Lawrence River, the marina has an 82 m (270 ft) long landing dock outside the basin. The latter is covered with a system of textile architectural roofs for the reception of cruise passengers. The dock was designed to moor boats up to 36 m (120 ft) long and stay in the water 12 months of the year.
