The Bangor Waterfront is a landmark along the Penobscot River, a vibrant hub where boating, cultural events, and community activities come together. Structurmarine played a key role in enhancing this area by replacing docks 2 and 3 for the City of Bangor, ensuring a safe and reliable infrastructure for users.

To accommodate the various types of watercrafts on the river, the docks are low freeboard, providing easy access for kayaks, paddleboards, and small boats. To address the river’s currents and fluctuating water levels, our engineering team designed a robust anchoring system using push arms and cables for optimal stability. Access to the floating docks is provided by a 40-foot-long aluminum gangway, while the composite wood decking ensures durability and comfort.
