The Ben Eoin Yacht Club is located approximately 25 minutes from downtown Sydney on the beautiful Bras d'Or Lake that divides Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia.
With 75 berths for medium-sized boats of 40 feet, this marina is the largest in this body of water. Located in an exposed part of the lake, the marina needed a system whose stability would guarantee both the comfort of users and the durability of its components. The high stability system meets all the specifications of this site, while respecting the budget of the Club. In addition, the flexible anchoring (on chains and concrete anchor blocks) as well as the floating dock system have been designed to remain in the water 12 months a year, even in extreme ice conditions. The marina offers a full range of services to boaters such as a service dock (fuel and gas and pump-out system), a boat launch, a sailing school, and even a golf club!
