DAYTONA MARINA & BOAT WORKS
DAYTONA BEACH, FLORIDA

The Daytona Marina & Boat Works project highlights the transformation of a historic landmark into a modern, durable, future-ready marina. Established in 1903, Daytona Marina has a rich maritime legacy. Over the past century, it has served various purposes: a transportation hub for the East Coast, a base of operations for the construction of the Intracoastal Waterway, a naval shipbuilding site during and around World War II, and later, a place for race boat construction as well as commercial and pleasure boat building. Today, the marina is locally owned and operated, offering modern amenities as a marina and a boatyard specializing in refurbishing boats.

Seeking to replace its aging wooden docks, the client chose an aluminum dock system, valuing longevity, low maintenance, and long-term performance. Structurmarine engineered floating docks that are both robust and visually appealing, designed to withstand a Category 3 hurricane, meeting the demanding coastal conditions of Florida’s Atlantic shoreline.

Because the client is also a professional boatyard, they perform their own pile installation and maintenance. The Structurmarine dock system integrates seamlessly into this expert environment, ensuring operational efficiency and structural integrity.

At Daytona Marina & Boat Works, maritime heritage meets innovation. Structurmarine is proud to contribute to this next chapter by delivering a modern, dependable infrastructure built to perform and endure.
