SAINT-CHARLES YACHT CLUB
FORT MYERS, FLORIDA

The St-Charles Yacht Club, located in Fort Myers, Florida, is a private yacht club offering a full range of services, including diesel, gas, and wastewater pump-out systems. Nestled in a deep-water marina, this facility benefits from a prime location in a sheltered cove, with easy access to the Gulf of Mexico, the Intracoastal Waterway, and the Caloosahatchee River. Protected on all sides, the marina provides an ideal refuge from severe weather, including hurricanes.

It is worth noting that the marina survived Hurricane Ian in 2022, a Category 5 hurricane that caused unprecedented devastation in Florida and ranked among the costliest weather disasters on record, unscathed. This resilience underscores the marina’s engineering robustness and exceptional structural stability, designed to withstand extreme weather conditions.

The marina features 65 boat slips, comprising 36 floating docks and 29 fixed docks, accommodating vessels ranging from 40 to 95 feet. Structurmarine supplied an aluminum floating dock system, anchored by steel piles for optimal stability. The docks are equipped with durable, low-maintenance composite wood decking and fenders.

The design, developed by our engineering team, can withstand winds of up to 96 mph (Category 2 hurricane). The marina project was completed in just five months from the contract signing, demonstrating Structurmarine’s expertise in delivering high-performance, secure designs.
