YACHT CLUB COVE
CANANDAIGUA, NEW YORK
Located in the heart of the Finger Lakes, the Yacht Club Cove project redefines the marina experience with a modern aesthetics of aluminum docks, functional design seamlessly integrated into its natural surroundings. Structurmarine collaborated closely with the Yacht Club Cove Homeowners Association to create and install a hybrid docking solution tailored to the site’s unique challenges.
This innovative project combines fixed docks and floating fingers to maximize the limited space within the basin while ensuring flexibility and stability. The fixed docks feature composite wood decking and are anchored with piles, offering year-round durability. Meanwhile, the floating fingers are self-supporting and can be moved along the fixed docks, allowing boat owners to adjust slip placement with ease.
To enhance accessibility, custom aluminum stairs were installed, adapting to the varying elevations of the marina’s terrain. This hybrid system delivers a functional and sustainable solution, with low-maintenance components designed to minimize environmental impact.
Structurmarine is proud to have contributed to the realization of this innovative marina—a space that will serve the community for generations to come.
